What is the pogo sticking?
Pogosticking is when someone clicks on a search result, quickly returns to the search engine results page (SERP), and clicks on another result. This action indicates to search engines that the initial result did not satisfy the user's query.
This is an important signal for your SEO: If many users quickly return to the SERP after clicking on a result, it suggests that the page didn't meet their needs. High rates of pogosticking can negatively impact a site's rankings. Pages that fail to engage users or provide the desired information are likely to be ranked lower over time.
On the contrary, beeing the last page to be visited indicates to Google that your website is relevant.
With SERP Empire, you can configure a pogo sticking rate between 0 and 10%.
When we decide to do a "pogo sticking" during a search, we will click on a result that is BEFORE your website, stay only a few seconds on it, hit the "return button" and then visit your website. To avoid clicking always on the same results, if your website is position 1, 2 or 3, we will then click on a random link on the result page.
